2. www.alibaba.com and 
3. www.1688.com (for large scale importers – who have established themselves in mini importation and can order in bulk).
On www.alibaba.com and www.1688.com, you get far cheaper items at the same quality than you get on aliexpress as you are interfacing with the manufacturers and you are buying directly from them.
You will always get VERY cheap on 1688.com. Yes, generally speaking. They are strictly for whole sales.
But, you will have to use Google Translate alongside your shopping on 1688.com. to translate from Chinese language to English.
The beauty of aliexpress is its simplicity and the most popular one: FREE shipping. So, you get very cheap items on 1688 and alibaba.
The first step in using these Chinese websites is to sign up. Fill in all necessary details correctly including your home address.
Remember, your Address where the item or items will deliver is very! Very!! Important as you will be contacted via it, to get your good or goods shipped, most especially when you buy via aliexpress. 
As regards using alibaba.com and 1688.com, I will strongly advise you use shipping agents as they are more cost effective. I will give out help as regards that.
Let’s pick up with aliexpress. After successful registration, you source for the item to buy and you pay with you ATM card. Thank God, there is no more limitation on spending on our ATM and those that do have, we have a limit of $1,000, which is still ideal to some extent (as starters).
In Dealing With Orders on aliexpress, there are tips to take note. Here are they:
1. Always go with TOP RATED SELLERS (90 to 100% positive overall rating is good)
2. Go with Free Shipping option (as a starter); This Is What I Call Basic Importation!
3. Control the price by inserting the price range on the search bar of the website (e.g. $1 to $2).
4. Also read reviews of what people are saying about the products.
5. Interact with the merchant/seller/manufacturer for further deals.
Please, take note of these TIPS as they will help a lot.
Free shipping usually takes between 21 days and 45 days. Most times and luckily, they can get to you here in Nigeria within 14 days. If you don’t want to wait that long, you can use shipping agents that will deliver your goods to you in Nigeria within 3-7 days.
For express shipping, it’s 1-3 days but cost is high like Noniking charges $8 for express shipping; 500 naira for 1kg, while $5 for normal shipping and 340 naira for 1kg load. When you grow in this biz, you can use express shipping especially when you have hot in demand products that are very urgent to deliver to local buyers.

Before I move on, let me quickly drop the three wholesale Chinese websites aside from Alibaba and 1688.com…………………. IT WILL BE ON MY NEXT EDITION WHEN I AM DONE VERIFYING THEM.
Now, something to talk about here as regards payment.
Those Chinese companies listed up there have system called ESCROW, which also applies to the US/UK websites. With escrow system, your money is with held when you make payment on those websites by the companies. They are not released to the sellers/merchants until when your goods are shipped and delivered to you. They follow up the process till the goods arrive the right destination (YOU) before money is released to the seller.
As regards the Chinese version of 1688.com, you can use Google translator to translate from Chinese to English. Just search for Google translator on the extensions tab on your browser.
So, your money is 100% secure. Now, let’s get on with alibaba.com and 1688.com. for alibaba and 1688.com, you can do your purchasing and payment, but the aspect of delivery is where you might not find easy.
It makes the purchasing, procurement, negotiating and delivery easy and hassles free for you. The best I recommend is to go via Agents, like I said earlier. I will share contacts reputable agents who can help you with this. All you need do is to send them the links of what you want to order for. That’s all. Make the payment and have your goods delivered within some stipulated days. With all of these purchases on these Chinese websites, there is the option for you to track your goods and know how far they have gone from the point of purchase to delivery. I have taught you how to track using 17track.net, on our training. But there are a lots of tracking sites.
Now, I want to talk about negotiating. Yes, you can negotiate your way on these Chinese websites and get goods cheaper than the listed prices. How to Negotiate the price with manufacturer and bring the price down. Just be friendly and be firm when negotiating. Let them know your mind when dealing with them as regards purchasing your desired products. Tell them explicitly what you can afford. And they will dance to your tunes. You can even tell them you will come for more bulky repeat orders.

HOW TO BRAND YOUR IMPORTED PRODUCT WITH YOUR NAME OR COMPANY NAME
The manufacturers at alibaba can get this done for you by customizing the products with your coy name. This brings about a boost to your business.
HOW TO GET PRODUCTS AT THE BEST LOWEST PRICE EVER
ALWAYS filter the list of products that show up when search for desired items. Then set price range to the beeriest minimum.
Another way is to talk to the manufacturer (most especially at alibaba.com) and do some negotiations. They will cut the price for you.

Now, LET’S DEAL WITH BUYING FROM UK AND USA WEBSITES
For USA websites, I strongly advise you go with ww.ebay.com and www.amazon.com. While for UK, use www.amazon.co.uk
You can find virtually anything on ebay most especially if you are tech type as you are guaranteed of quality and cheap price. 
One beautiful thing I love about ebay is the auction/biding aspect. You can bid for items at ridiculously cool amount in comparison to the outright buy it now counterparts with the same quality.
Even out-rightly Buy It now it now items come in cool and enticing price. She also does that for amazon.com purchase too.
How About Payment and Delivery? Since Ebay Does Not Ship To Nigeria, What is the way forward?
Never worry, I use a Nigerian lady that ships items for me from ebay to Nigeria at cheaper amount, cost effective than going through DHL, UPS, etc. Her, shipping fees are very cheap: 15$ for phones, $25 for ipads/tablets and $55 for laptops. Your goods arrive Lagos for pick up.
Delivery from US/UK to Nigeria is within 7-8 days.
If you are not in Lagos, you will arrange for local delivery to your destination anywhere in Nigeria.

Question: for his express and normal delivery, how much does he charge and what’s the duration before it lands?
Answer: It takes 7days for the goods to arrive. Express is 10days or 15days maximum. Cost depends on your negotiations with him. For express shipping through the China agent I dropped. It’s $8 per kg.
Question: Branding imported products is it the same sites that will brand your imported products or we will have to talk to someone?
Answer: The same site from China. Tell the merchants or manufacturers from alibaba and aliexpress that you want your items branded. They will do it at no extra cost.
Question: Do they have messenger too?
Answer: No. Contact is by mail. Buy you can ask for Skype details.
Question: what’s the MOQ? Which stands for Minimum Order Quantity?
Answer: Some 10, Some 50, some 100. Depends on the seller or product types.
Question: please what does unlocked smartphone means?
Answer: Not yet locked to a country?
Question: Amazon or eBay which is most preferable for phones and laptops?
Answer: EBay.
Question: Expatiate more on biding and auction on ebay.com
Answer: You place price for an item. The highest bidder takes home the item. But you have to be watching the bidding activities of others closely towards the end so that you can outbid others and become the eventual winner.
Question: What if you buy from different sellers how will they package your wares in one parcel?

When you make payment, Aliexpress and Co serve as intermediary between you and the merchants. So, your money is not released to the merchants until it is confirmed you have gotten your goods.
Escrow account is a third party way of payment.
You pay to the site (aliexpress), the site holds the money not releasing to the customer then the seller sends the product to you. When you get the product and it’s in good shape, you go back to site click on your profile, click on Order, on the right hand side of that will ORDER you clicked, click on “Confirm Order” to release the money to the seller when you have received your item(s).
N/B: Don’t release the cash when you have not received the product!!!
Just like you are working with budget of items that fall between two figures. Minimum and maximum. For example, between $1 and $3, so the sites will display items that are between $1 and $3.
